Things you need to know:
Box Strength
Mullen Test
- Measures the bursting strength of corrugated boxes.
- A 200# box can withstand 200 lbs/linear inch of side wall pressure before crushing.
Edge Crush Test (ECT)
- Measures the stacking strength of corrugated boxes.
- A 32 ECT box can withstand 32 lbs/linear inch of stacking weight before crushing.

32 ECT
- Recommended for shipping up to 30 lbs.
- Most commonly used corrugated shipping box.
